Problem
Statement

Unnecessary backups/delays while boarding flights in U.S. airports

Solution

Most travelers pose no threat.  Defining those who DO pose a threat is a matter of screening procedures and “no fly lists,” and is NOT what this idea is about.

Defining those who pose NO RISK has not been developed.  I propose the “TSA Trusted Traveler” (3T) Program.

In order to be placed on the “DO FLY” list, a traveler must have a valid U.S. Passport, together with one or more of the following (To Be Determined (TBD) by government-sanctioned study):

 - Active Duty or Retired Military ID Card

 - Government employee with a Valid Federal/State/County Issued photo ID Card

 - 3T member who holds active Secret (or better) Security Clearance

 - Age 70 or over

 - Age 10 or younger

 - (Other Valid Object items, TBD)

Remarks
Explanation

By defining which travelers (which Passport numbers/holders) to be allowed unfettered access to flights, the TSA can more efficiently and effectively focus on others, who may pose a threat.
